U3A Teaching

Ten members of March U3A came to Charles David Photography Ltd's studio for a teaching session. We concentrated on compositions and techniques to improve images but also went into some technical aspects about getting the correct exposure, focussing off centre, using different ISO settings, and manipulating images afterwards.

Working on the "Pets are family too" theme we were lucky enough to have four stars in our studio - and of course their proud "mum" Caroline!

Big Mac, Billy, Toffee and Ginger were on their best behaviour and - with the assistance of Debbie and not a little bribery in the form of some chicken we were able to get some really cute shots!

Jean's 60th Party Night - raising funds for Cancer Research

We had the pleasure of attending Jeans birthday party at Victory Hall in Gedney this weekend. So far over £900 has been raised for this great cause and we were proud to play our part by donating a prize of a portrait shoot at our March Studio.

We had a fantastic day out at Leverington Easter Monday Fun Day - helping to raise funds to build a childrens' play area in the village.

The weather was great, the atmosphere was as warm and friendly as could be and thanks to all the hard work of the organisers they raised over £2,200 - Congratulations!

Charles David Photography donated the grand prize which was a FREE portrait shoot and print at our March Studio.

March enjoyed a glorious sunny day for the 2010 St George's Fayre. There were events from 10:00am to 4:00pm and the crowds easily exceeded last year's inaugural event. Charles David Photography Ltd were there photographing this community event.

If you cannot make it to us then we will come to you. This is ideal for people in residential and nursing homes, also for those unable to get out of their own homes.

Photography Studio Now Ready

Our studio is now built and in use. Our first portrait sitting was on 13th March 2010 and went very well. Sittings are by appointment and will be relaxed and unhurried. We are very good at photographing people who "don't like having their photograph taken" and producing great portraits of people who "never like themselves in photographs".

Charles David Photography Ltd enjoyed a day over at the Five Miles from Anywhere Inn on Saturday 20th March 2010. The Fabulous Fezheads hosted the day and there were numerous entertainments and dance displays.
